Carl holds a Master of Divinity from Wartburg Theological Seminary and a Th.M. from Harvard Divinity School.

Carl is a published author, and a humanities instructor at DeAnza College and College of Marin. A gifted singer, he serves as our organist, coordinates music for worship, and directs the monthly ensemble performance.

Carl’s rehearsals are described as "a joy". He expects the best of every member of our ensemble singers, but also celebrates the Psalm that exorts us simply to "make a joyful noise unto God."

Lorayne Crozier is an excellent pianist with a show-bix background who plays piano every Sunday at Christ Lutheran. The fourth Sunday of the month is Lorayne's day to shine as she set the pace and tickles the ivories at the Jazz Mass. Lorayne and her husband John have lived in Fairfax for many years.
